Its body, made from mahogany and shaped in the updated New Marcus Miller Jazz Type design, delivers a warm, deep, and rounded tone, perfect for styles ranging from jazz and funk to rock. The C-shaped maple neck provides a comfortable feel along the entire rosewood fingerboard (9.5” radius), which features 20 medium-small frets and pearloid dot inlays.
The V3-4 is loaded with a set of Marcus Super Jazz Revolution pickups, paired with a Marcus Heritage-3 active preamp (switchable to passive mode via a mini-toggle). This setup offers an impressively wide tonal palette, with finely tuned controls: Volume/Tone (dual pot), pickup balance, treble, midrange with parametric frequency control (dual pot), and bass, making it easy to tailor your tone to any playing style or musical context.
