Hagstrom Fantomen White stands out for its asymmetrical design and construction, which is engineered to offer comfort, stability, and sustain. Its mahogany body is paired with a glued-in mahogany neck and a Resinator fingerboard—a composite material developed by Hagstrom for its stability and consistency. It features 22 Medium Jumbo frets, a scale length of 648 mm, a radius of 381 mm, and a 43 mm Graph Tech Black Tusq XL nut. The H-Expander truss rod system also contributes to the neck’s rigidity and stability, while the imitation-mother-of-pearl block inlays and high-gloss white finish give it a particularly refined look.
On the electronics side, the Fantomen is equipped with two Lundgren Design Alnico humbuckers—a No. 2 model at the neck and a No. 5 model at the bridge—offering a range of tones from warm and precise to more aggressive sounds. The two volume controls and two push/pull tone controls allow you to split the pickups into single-coil mode, complemented by a 3-position selector switch. The Long Travel Tune-o-Matic bridge offers an extended range of intonation adjustment, featuring a Stop Bar tailpiece and chrome hardware. This is a particularly versatile guitar, capable of shifting from classic rock tones to much heavier sounds.
