The
Sire S7 is a solidbody electric guitar inspired by the Stratocaster format, designed in collaboration with guitarist Larry Carlton. This model combines traditional construction and high-end material choices to offer a comfortable, accurate and versatile instrument.
The North American alder body provides good tonal balance, suitable for both light and saturated registers. The screwed neck in solid torrefied maple, with its C-shaped profile, is stable and pleasant in the hand. It is topped by a matching fingerboard, also in torrefied maple, with abalone inlays and a 9.5” radius, suitable for both rhythmic playing and expressive solos.
The HSS configuration features two Sire S7 single-coil pickups in neck and middle positions, plus a humbucker in the bridge, for a wide sound palette ranging from slamming funk to more modern saturated tones. The 5-position selector allows fluid navigation between pickup combinations, with simple settings for overall volume and tone.
On the hardware side, the guitar is equipped with a 2-point vibrato bridge with stainless steel block, ensuring stability and precision, and high-quality chrome-plated hood tuners. The 3-tone Sunburst finish is complemented by a white mother-of-pearl pickguard, adding a classic touch to the ensemble.
