Martinez Crossover MP14-MP is a nylon-string electro-acoustic classical guitar designed to offer comfort, versatility, and high-quality sound for modern guitarists.
It features a solid spruce top and flamed laminated maple back and sides, housed in a compact body smaller than a traditional full-size 4/4 guitar. The mahogany glued neck with a thinner profile (48 mm nut width at the first fret) is ideal for players coming from electric or folk guitars.
The neck paired with a rosewood fingerboard of 19 frets ensures ergonomic comfort and easy access to all notes. Its 650 mm scale length delivers a well-balanced classical tone.
This guitar stands out with its custom preamp inspired by Yamaha’s Transacoustic system, offering natural reverb, chorus, and delay effects generated by the vibrations of the back. An impressive sonic innovation that enriches acoustic playing without external amplification.
The electronics include a mixable piezo pickup and condenser microphone, providing great flexibility for amplified sound, from natural to heavily processed tones.
Traditional classical tuners guarantee reliable tuning stability, while the glossy finish on the neck and body adds elegance and protection.
