Pinarbox
Invented and handcrafted in Saint-Lô, the Pinarbox is a French take on the famous American cigar box guitars, originally made from cigar boxes and created during the golden age of blues music.
In the spirit of musical nomadism, we’ve developed the Pinarbox in several versions: electric (with or without built-in amp), folk electro-acoustic, and soon classical, bass, and ukulele models.
With a focus on recycling, these old wine crates are brought back to life, resonating once again under the strings of these rich and spirited instruments.
Fun fact: “Pinard” is French slang for red wine, a nod to the reclaimed wine boxes that form the body of each instrument.
