Just a few years ago, a whole host of vintage turntables and record players were brought into the store by enthusiasts who had come to give their old equipment a new lease of life. The diamond was changed, the electronics checked, the turntable adjusted... and the sound was restored to its former clarity. Until parts became increasingly rare, expensive and, in some cases, almost impossible to find. Reluctantly, we had to put away our needles and say goodbye to repairing these beautiful machines.
